GaMetal’s going mobile!

Haha I know, Plants vs. Zombies didn’t start out on mobile, but for a lot of us it’s the first thing that comes to mind. Anyway, Brainiac Maniac is the final boss theme from the first Plants vs. Zombies game.

This was the latest request list drawing winner over on Patreon. I actually really liked this song a lot when I first heard it. Something about the way this song was composed told me that this would be a really easy transition into a rock/metal song, and it indeed was.

The original version (as with a lot of the PvZ soundtrack) is a bit on the chill side, but I heard a ton of potential to amp this one up. I gave the synth a fair share of lead stuff as well so there’s a good deal of dual synth/lead guitar stuff going on.

I had a ton of fun with this one! More Plants vs. Zombies in the future? I’m not sure, but I’ll keep my ears out. 🙂
