A Hat in Time has really been blowing up lately, and as a result I’ve gotten plenty of requests to do a song from it’s splendid soundtrack. I figured I’d start off with the most requested of them all, Your Contract Has Expired.

This song reminds me a lot of ASGORE… like there’s this sort of light hearted, but still intense vibe to it. I don’t really know how to describe it. It’s really cool though.

The original is pretty lengthy so I had plenty to work with. I really just played through it and threw a guitar solo towards the end. When a song is already fantastic, I don’t see much point in doing any drastic changes!

Now what’s all this stuff I’m hearing about Battle of Award 42…
