Traveling back to the past yet again for May Madness and revisiting Hyrule Castle! I first covered this song back in 2010, and I originally intended to do it for last year’s May Madness event, but cut it in favor of Battle With Magus.

I’ve always been really fond of this song, and sadly it doesn’t see a lot of official love aside from receiving a remake (by default) in A Link Between Worlds.

This is probably the 2nd most-changed remake for this year’s May Madness (second to Star Wolf). I changed the song structure back to be more similar to the original, and added an acoustic section and guitar solo section that weren’t present in my boring old 2010 remix.

It’s been WAY TOO LONG since I’ve done any Zelda songs, and this year I feel like I need to catch up. I have at least 2 more planned for this year, so Zelda fans stay tuned!
