Kirby Gourmet Race and Pokemon RBY Trainer Battle are the 2 top songs from the 2009 era. This song was probably a little bit behind Trainer Battle, but still up there.
I’m a big fan of Kirby music, and Kirby Superstar is chock full of amazing and now classic Kirby tunes. Gourmet Race is one of the most popular, stemming from it’s remake in Smash Bros Melee and being used a few times in future Kirby games.
Since it was such a popular 2009 song, it earned an appearance in the Blast from the Past medley as song #2.
