Another song to add to the obscure/underappreciated song list: Cursed Leorina is a pretty awesome tune from the PS2 game Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil. This was a random pick from the Patreon request list.

In the game, Leorina becomes overwhelmed by sorrow and transforms into some sort of weird dragon thing. To keep true to the whole sorrow thing, I kept this song pretty laid back and ‘sad’ sounding. The original is the same way, and seems to be one of the things that fans most appreciate about the song, so I had to keep that element. Even though this song is overall pretty simple (save for the fast string stuff), I find it getting stuck in my head quite often. It’s a really catchy tune!

I wonder if Klonoa will ever get a new game anytime soon? It seems to have a pretty solid underground fanbase. Something for you to think about, Namco!
