Remember the last time I did a Mario & Luigi song? It was Dark Star Core back in 2013.

I’ve been getting tons of requests for other M&L songs since. Superstar Saga recently received a 3DS remake, so what better time than now to finally get back to doing some M&L stuff? Let’s finally do Cackletta’s Soul.

My main beef with this song, when I first heard it, was how short it is. It makes the song sort of die down out of nowhere once it hits the loop section. So I doubled up some sections and kept the intensity going throughout the slightly altered intro loop. I also mixed in some elements of Cackletta’s Theme, most notably as a bridge section.

With Cackletta complete, maybe now I can finally get to that Adventure’s End remix I’ve been promising forever… until then! 🙂
