In honor of Canada day (or maybe my birthday, maybe), I’m doing some songs from one of my favorite NES soundtracks: Darkwing Duck!

I grew up watching Darkwing Duck when I was a kid and I’ve always been a fan of the NES game and it’s soundtrack. It’s got some really awesome songs and the game itself is really solid. If you’re ever feeling like playing a good Mega Man clone, give DWD NES a try.

So these songs have stuck with me the most being the first 3 stage songs you hear in the game. My personal favorite is the Bridge theme, while debatably the City theme is the most popular overall. The Sewer theme isn’t as popular as the previous 2 but it’s still really cool, but it’s the only one of the 3 I ended up doing just one run-through of.

I kept the whole song in a swing groove and even threw in some snazzy sounding trumpets mostly in the Bridge stage section.

This video hasn’t been out too long but it’s doing surprisingly well, currently one of the most popular of my ‘oddball’ songs from this year. I had a ton of fun doing it so hopefully you had a ton of fun listening to it!
